The MSWS holds an open mic poetry night at the Stage Door Cabaret in Mt. Shasta. People are invited to come and read their work to a lively and supportive audience of fellow writers and other interested folks. New Spring 2008 Come join our local community of writers and play with words, generate new material, and have fun. No poker experience necessary.We will gather in a mutually supportive environment, generously hosted by our local librarian who has offered to stay open late just for us (Thanks Terry)! Bring your pens and notebooks Special thanks to Tom and the Stage Door Café for providing the cabaret space for our readings. We encourage all of the Writers Series participants and guests to continue to support the Stage Door by purchasing food and drink at all of the events.
